Tonje Kristiansen

Tonje Kristiansen works internationally across narrative, curation, and creative direction, collaborating with brands, publications, founders, and organizations on conversations, editorial projects, events, and visual storytelling. Based in Los Angeles, she has brought together voices across film, fashion, wellness, entrepreneurship, and the arts through live conversations, podcasts, editorial work, and events. She moderates conversations and boutique events, writes in Norwegian and English, and develops editorial, documentary, and creative projects.

Tonje is the founder of Her Platform, an interview and event series centered around intimate conversations across Soho House locations in Los Angeles snd London. She has contributed to publications such as ELLE, Soho House Magazine, and Acne Paper.

In 2005, she made her directorial debut with the award-winning documentary short Kjell, followed a few years later by the documentary Love Lessons.

Raised in Norway in a filmmaking family, Tonje began acting in films and television at a young age and continued working throughout her teenage years. After studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, she spent several years working across film, television, and productions, while also exploring modeling in Paris and New York. She later continued her studies at Westerdals School of Communication in Oslo.
